Kung-fu Panda 2 and CSK victory 2

The trailer of the movie came almost 10 months before the movie itself released. It was more a tease than a trailer, but still we were all expecting awesome crazy stuff from the makers of KUNG-FU PANDA.. It is going to be really hard to list down the specific blocks of the movie which made it interesting but am still goin to give it a shot. Be it the dialogues between Panda and the Tigress or the dialogue between Panda and the goat or the commands that the peacock gives to his subordinates, the writing is just brilliant to express emotions of the characters befittingly. The story of the movie as such can be told in a single line( but i wont spoil it for you, you just have to watch it), but the vary point of this movie is the narration style (screenplay and graphics). The change from one scene to another is extremely accelerated . Like that chase scene in that movie, its so colorful and different yet some how vary native to the franchise itself making the scene something your mind ll keep forever. The graphics used in the movie is by far the best used this year. The best 3d movie this year, right from the dew drop scene to all the cannon ball scenes it was just AWESOME. I will watch it another time in the theatre.



The CSK boys had v little to prove today, I thought. Being defending champions of both the club tournaments in cricket. But they had different plans they just came out and professional cricket with really happy hearts. I am still not sure if its Dhoni or the franchise itself that makes the team soo united and happy about what they are doing  just love these guys on field  (non homo intentions). The wicket was a typical Chennai pitch, ball coming on to bat nicely in the first half then slowing down considerably later. watched v lil n had a lotta fun so dont remeber clearly about the match itself. But so happy that CSK finished on the winning side. Gayle deservedly MOT and vijay was the MOM. Nice buncha guys , everyone contributing on critical situations to make them the team to beat in IPL and CL

CSK Veriyan!

Even though Lalit Modi might be The Worst Punk that Indian cricket has ever seen,he did an awesome thing by conducting the first three IPLs in complete grandeur. This started a new cult in the Indian cities. People fight madly in colleges n offices to support their favorite IPL team.. And those forty five days of cricket are followed in TV more than even, i can say, an IndoPak match. #AwesomeIdea-IPL

Today we have the Finals of Airtel Champions League T20. Chennai Super Kings are playin in it and they have been in an awesome form in SA this year.  Whatever the result in the final, the CSK fans (me being the biggest verriyan) ll be extremely happy with team's performance there!

The one thing that ll make the fans sad though (saddest being me), is the fact that this might be the last game for this CSK team. After today, because of the two new teams that ll be comin in from the next edition, this team will be broken down. Dhoni n the CSK owners ll be having a hard time choosing the four players who can be retained with CSK for the next edition. The CSK is predominantly a batting team, the batsmen being the true Super Kings for them right from the *inception* of the team. But with Bollinger comin in, the team has become formiddable in all fronts. I'd like to see a strong batting team for the forthcoming years too.

The team is not all Big Names, in fact this will be the only to get rid of some punks like Joginder Sharma, Manpreet Goni n (sadly) Hayden.  Haydos' form has always gone downhill, he is gettin old and its only best for himself and the team if he gets dropped! Kemp had v limited chance to prove himself, lots of people have performed better than this guy. Balaji Badrinath n Anirudh have been highly inconsistent though there are high chances they come back into the team through auctions!!

So, actually the guys who might even be considered to be retained will be less. My guess is 4 of these 8 players should make it..

*Mike Hussey,(F)
*Suresh Raina,(I)
*MS Dhoni,(I)
*Albie Morkel,(F)
*Muttaih Muralitharan,(F)
*Ravichandran Ashwin,(I)
*Dougie Bollinger(F)

There is a constraint on choosing these four players too. they can retain a maximum of ONE foreign player only.  (F) in the list indicates a foreign player, (I) Indian Player.

Dhoni stays, no matter what. He is captain cool. Guiding the bowlers from behind the stumps, he is the best tactician in world cricket now! He is the one who gets the results consistently which in turn brings in the crowd and the sponsors. Everybody's favorite!


One of Raina or Vijay should stay! Tough choice, here. Both are explosive top order batsmen. But they have got different styles, one is intent on clearing the ropes  and the other is more technical and stylish. Raina has a slight edge over Vijay because of his experience!!

Mike Hussey is the team man. He can bat steadily and still get runs at good pace. He is v atheletic for his age and is an awesome fielder. Sad thing is that we need our international player to be a bowler. So I'll be really surprised if he gets picked b4 auctions!

Both the spinners Ashwin n Muralitharan have delivered amazing overs for Chennai. Murali, though hugely experienced, is gettin older and thus keeping in mind the long term interest of the team Ashwin can be picked ahead of Murali. He is an Indian, he is a fighter and he gets a lotta wickets!

For the fast bowling spot, CSK have Dougie Bollinger n Albie Morkel .
Both of them are nasty new ball bowlers. One is v consistent, hits the deck in right places and is also v economical. Morkel ,is however, kinda inconsistent,  goes for a lotta runs and hence the other end bowler needs to be economical for Morkel to click. So Bollinger ahead of Morkel.


Here is my 4 to be retained for the Next edition:
MSDhoni, Suresh Raina, Ravichandran Ashwin, Dougie Bollinger! 
CSK owners, however, should try hard to get the other 4 players into the squad through the player auctions!! Also they must try n get talented Indian Seamers , that has always been the one big problem for this CSK team.
